Here is a Marlin Model 39A that I recently did a hot salt reblue and stock refinish on. It was exposed to some salt water after the owner's 4x4 was caught in the tide. Not ideal.

Here's a tidy little Mare's Leg Rossi I finished a couple months back. Tried to keep it as accurate to some historical images as possible. Not many examples retained the iron sights. However, the customer still wanted to be able to aim, so I recut the front dovetail. A saddle ring was added later on.

I love the Wi******er Model 1892. So much that I decided a lot of them needed a chance to shoot again. Many over here have rusted and been neglected in the Australian climate. So this is what I came up with:
9mm and 45ACP conversions are now available at Harrison Gunsmithing
The above pictures are of 3 Wi******ers that I have converted from old rusted guns into something that is usable, with ammo available most anywhere.
If you have a Wi******er in 25-20, 32-20, 38-40, 44-40 and any other cartridge that is worn out or in need or repair, please consider giving us a chance to give it a new life.
Custom options are available.

From the previous post to completed rifle. Stock has been checkered, oil finished, and sent out the door to the customer. Merry Christmas a few days late, and happy New Year.

Working on finishing up another semi-finished stock from Hatchers Riflestocks. This is a Montana Rifle Co. Model 1999 in .416 Rigby.
The photos seen here show the process of adding detail lines and installing alloy pillars & crossbolt through the action area. The stock was also bedded with Armagrout. At this stage I will apply a couple more coats of oil, then move to checkering.

Here is an example of some simple, budget engraving to complement a blued firearm.
Side note: I know a lot of my posts show my engraving, but it's really only about 10-20% of the work I do. I guess in my eyes, the gunsmithing work can seem a little less photogenic, and it's not always obvious what has been done without a lengthy description. Also, who wants 100 pictures of threaded muzzles? Am I right?

This one came back through the shop and it seemed right to take some photos again. I refinished the stock and polished the metal up a while back to freshen years of wear and typical post '64 Wi******er oxidising.

A couple of progress shots on a P14 that I worked on. Began with a semi-inlet stock that needed a bit of inletting, shaping, sanding, and oil finish. Also drilled and installed some stock crossbolts. I missed a picture with the whole rifle assembled. A lot goes through the shop, and it's always quick out the door.

When you are handed a brand new Anschutz with the barrel chopped off 1/2" from the action and a second-hand Lithgow LA102 barrel and asked to make it work but in 22 K Hornet... this is what I came up with.
Basically, I used the orginal barrel as an extension so I didn't have to re-machine the lugs, tapped it to M18×1mm, threaded and fit the barrel to suit, and made a new oversized barrel pin so she fit back in nice and tight.
