Wildflower walking delights! The coastal heath is beginning to pop into spring bloom - boronias, croweas, bush iris, tea tree and a little (fairy?) orchid!
Nothing quite like the heart popping beauty of walking amidst them!

Winter wildflower carpets….of hibbertia and sarsaparilla.
Several years ago there was just one tiny patch of hibbertia flowers over the whole hill, but day by day and year by year pulling out the camphor (chemical free), and the native wildflower carpets have spread far and wide ! So much joy…….

Aloe, aloe?
As someone who teaches plant spirit listening, its a little ironic that even now there are times like this when plants have to yell three times to get my attention.

Finally got to walk the border track- Binna Burra to Green Mountain. 24km of pristine world heritage rainforest, ancient Antarctic beeches everywhere, and giddy clifftop views of our beloved great cauldron/caldera from a new angle entirely! Lucky for pristine weather, though there was plenty of mud navigation. The last hour we walked into the dusk and arrived at Green Mountain our eyes fully adjusted to the darkness, feeling rather than seeing the forest!

How does Shamanic Herbalism differ from normal herbalism?
This is a topic that comes up so often, and is fresh in my mind as we were discussing aspects of it last night in the yearlong Plant Ally circle.
Here's a simplified (and pretty picture) explanation.
The final intake of Shamanic Herbalism for the year is happening now.
It's the last week to enrol!
Stella, Steph and I would love to have you join us as we make our way through the three pathways that comprise Level 1.
It's also the last chance to join before the prices hike up to match the current cost of living (i haven't raised the price in 8 years as my way of giving back).
Payment plans are available too.
Head to www.wildflowerwalker.com for all details.
