🎉 NIT WEEK WINNERS! 🪮✨ All students whose families completed the Nit Week form will receive an icy pole today.
A huge congratulations to all the parents and families who took the time to participate in Nit Week and complete the form!
The more of us who check, the better! When we all work together to regularly check and treat when needed, we can help prevent head lice from spreading throughout our school.
And a very special congratulations to our Nit Week winning classes:

Book week 2026! We look forward to the parade every year, soooo much creativity and effort (and the effort of parents). All our students looked fantastic in their costumes, blown away this year. We have the absolute best teachers at Vasse, can you spot some of them here?

🪲 NIT WEEK IS HERE! 🪲 starts today and your last day to enter is 21st August.
It’s time to help your child’s class battle it out for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place! 🏆
All you need to do is submit the form via Flexischools and your child’s class will go into the running.
CLOs: Encourage your whole class to get involved! The more students who participate, the better your class’s chance of taking out one of the top spots.
And don’t forget to submit the form! This means your child can collect their well-deserved icypole reward on Monday. Yes, we know it’s absolutely freezing 🥶… but our little people still look forward to that Monday icypole!
Let’s work together to keep Vasse as “nit free” as possible!

🚗 ROAD SAFETY REMINDER 🎒
Our children’s safety comes first. Please slow down, follow the road rules and be patient around the school.
🚙 Parking: Keep footpaths clear, use angle parking where available and allow plenty of space for vehicles to reverse and manoeuvre safely, even from 2pm when the area is still busy.
🚗 Kiss & Drop: If you arrive early, please park elsewhere. The Kiss & Drop loop should only be entered after 3:06pm.
🚓 40km/h zone: The entire school perimeter is 40km/h. Please take extra care on every side of the school, not just where our traffic warden is stationed.
🚸 We’ve recently received reports of speeding, unsafe parking and rushed manoeuvres around the school.
Please slow down, leave space, be patient and look out for one another. A few extra seconds is always worth it when our kids’ safety is at stake.

Year Two at 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm
Year Four at 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm
Please make sure there's a guardian signing in and signing your child out on time.

Pre Primary school disco is happening today. The first disco for our little PP humans I bet everyone is super excited. Hope you all have your dancing shoes ready to wear.
Come dressed in your best Rock Music costume or just be as comfortable as you like in your favourite outfit.
Just a reminder that each child needs their Guardian to remain near the Hive, for the duration of the Disco tonight 5:15pm - 6:30pm.
