This so happened to happen before Christmas….. a whole day of engraving in fact
Lots people got what they expected to be a standard bottle of perfume and were pleasantly surprised to learn it was engraved and personalised with their name.
It just can’t get more personal than that!
This was the only client that asked for it to be engraved on the side of the bottle and I was thrilled to meet someone with my taste too! Front or side for personalising? Which do you think you’d prefer? Let me know

My smallest welcome sign of 2021 but by far one of if not my favourite…
In growing and learning my craft and me better this year, I found I have a tendency to want to fill every space available.
Sometimes all the impact is in the vacant space that surrounds the work.
This is a classic case of what I mean.
Were you guilty of covering every corner of your school book title page just because the space was available?
I think I’m uncovering some deep rooted issues in my design journey 🤣

What’s a handy way to keep up with your theme and send a message to the crowd?
Use Acrylic of course! I love making up Calligraphy signage on all things Acrylic/Perspex.
It my favourite kind of subtle with a punch that is reusable and translates absolutely any theme.
This one was done for a wedding

Every Calligraphy who knows one of if not Australia’s best supplier is always treated to a personalised tag of Calligraphy in their name.
Thanks for telling me about the first time we spoke.
It’s been a real treat and almost hard work to resist buying everything! 😄🥰

Menu me up!
I think I put on weight just writing this stuff out. 😆 I also have a rule to eat before I write a menu otherwise I’m writing out everything I could possibly crave and things I’ve never even pronounced before 😂😝
Hope you had a great weekend folks

Where the line starts and stops is everything
Relevant to life, beauty, fashion & calligraphy.
Imagine this neckline being squared, or scooped, v necked or turtle neck.
It all plays in to the feeling the designer chose to evoke in their design.
This is not a corporate neck line for example and the lines makes a massive impact of play into the femininity of this design.
There’s so many styles of Calligraphy to evoke many different feelings from fun to formal. It’s all in where the line starts and stops.
Have you ever noticed this much detail about a line? 😝

With Glam and Grace...
it’s how one should approach the highs and lows of all things an event can bring but of course...
It’s the only way to address any matters of writing for a special event...
Calligraphy - all the glam plus the grace.

There’s really no discrimination in who is attracted to curves.
It catches us all out!
Calligraphy Curves are just as sensational and embody much of this unexplainable attraction of ours.

That’s the first impression of a lot of stunning creations, Calligraphy included!

Kathryn-Janet * True Story *
My name has been a controversial subject since birth. My parents debated on who’s mother I should be named after. With no compromise to a first and middle name, It was settled I would be named after both grandma’s as 2 first names hyphenated (insert profanity) 🤦🏽♀️
Grandma Katterina
Grandma Janette
Katterina-Janette just seemed like too long & ethnic they thought, as they were trying to climatize to the Aussie way from Sudan so they shortened it to
Kathryn-Janet.
You cant even begin to imagine how many people went either with Kathryn or Janet but never both. Then out of the one name, they’d go shopping on the options of nick names.
Kathryn ; Kat, Katty, KittyKat, BabyKakes, Kathy, Kate & Christine happened A LOT from those old migrants in the community that couldn’t remember Kathryn.
Janet; Jan, J, Jazz
After a while I just started responding to any volume projected my way 😂
Jazz came from a friend’s friend who, again, decided that name for me but it felt fitting and I was done. Jazz it was from that day on
I am still predominantly referenced as Kathryn in official spaces and with courtesy, I pardon their ears the trauma of this story 🤣
Jazz is my happy space and I’m glad you all see me shine in it! 💫 @ Sydney, Australia
