It’s chaotic rain coming down outside. Sounds like river gushing from the sky.
The latest Severe Thunderstorm Warning just issued minutes ago now includes the entire southside of Brisbane in the warning area.... and incredibly... Greenbank actually gets a special mention!! (Mark this day down in history)
This storm is also moving towards the Brisbane CBD but is only moving slowly.
Additionally, this storm has a history of producing very heavy rainfall and is still doing so.. meaning that flash flooding in some areas is likely.

For people in Logan, Gold Coast and parts of Ipswich, Scenic Rim, Redland City and Brisbane City Council Areas.
Issued at 6:29 pm Monday, 26 February 2018.
Weather Situation:
The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 6:35 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Coolangatta and Jimboomba. These thunderstorms are moving towards the northeast. They are forecast to affect Logan Village, Bundamba Lagoon and Greenbank by 7:05 pm and Beenleigh, Logan City and Wacol by 7:35 pm.
Heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding is likely.
