Bundamba High Class of '87 Reunion

Bundamba High Class of '87 Reunion It's time for us to talk old days, new days and catch up with the buddies we've missed. Its was talked about for far too long! HUGE SUCCESS! Can you please HELP?

It was time to put talk into action and we did it! Our 25th year Reunion started celebrations on the 9th and finished on the 10th June 2012. We rekindled friendships of the past and everyone had such a great time they are asking about the 30th year Reunion. YES, NOW WE ARE UP TO OUR 40th! So stick around with our page, there maybe something happening in 2017 (DONE), but hopefully things in between

too :). WHAT A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE TO CATCH UP WITH! AND NOW .... WE ARE COMING UP TO OUR 40th Year Reunion. AMAZING! 14th AUGUST 2027! The goal is a big reunion every 5 years! Our page will continue as will our search for past students, our classmates, so please help us in this task. Grade 8 - 1983 ~ Grade 9 - 1984 ~ Grade 10 - 1985 ~ Grade 11 - 1986 ~ Grade 12 - 1987

Hi ya all .... please message me directly if you see any ads pop up in comments of posts. I would greatly appreciate if you could do this. I can not unfortunately restrict people from making comments on our page (to just members), unless I want to hide the page from the public and then only admin can see the page. So please let me know if People like Helen C, and you know what C is for right ........ yeh Criminal right! Just let me know please, I'm just as busy as everyone else and I don't see everything immediately. Cheers. If anyone knows a way around restricting others that are not members please educated me as I don't seem to be able to find a way to do this. Cheers. Miranda.

Shoot the Invader (Report them please and report to me).
Thank you.

Have you got this date in your calendar - 14th August 2027?

Please book yourself out now to attend!

I want you to have memories and all of us to have memories of you attending this enjoyable time with the "Class of '87".

Start spreading the word of our reunion now, link people to our page, lets hope in our effort we get to catch up with others we have missed in past years.

I also encourage you, and invite you the opportunity to help with the events planning, set up and coordination, and adding a twist of fun. I'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions. So please throw them to me through a message or bring them with you and join the organising team.

Thank you all for making this group a welcoming group we can be proud of.

I hope you all have had a lovely Christmas Time with family and friends, and created great memories over the Silly Season.

The New Year is here and I'm sure some of you have great memories to tell around the welcoming in of the New Year. Right.

I wasn't up for the crossover of 2025/2026, but I did sleep soundly through it. Preparing to be energised and ready for the fun to kick off when I woke up on the 1st January 2026.

I am so grateful for another year to be able to make plans, set goals, celebrate, grow and connect to others in my life journey, creating happy and joyful memories to note down in my album of life :-)

I wish and hope you all too have wonderful year! Happy 2026!

It was sad to hear of the passing our teacher Mr Hertrich who taught Manual Arts (Woodwork & Metalwork) and Technical Drawing (or as we called it Graphics).

RIP Mr Hertrich. My condolences to your family.

Unfortunately I've come to know this a little late. Mr Hertich's funeral was earlier this month on the 15th January 2026.

Howdy all!

Happy New Year! (I know my wishes to you are a little late, and ;-) its better late than never! Right. lol). I'm projecting its going to be a most wonderful 2025 for all of us. You are a great bunch of peeps and deserve only the best! That's true!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their first month of 2025. I have and I'm grateful!

My Jan-25 has been productive and busy and full of joy. HaHa I still didn't get everything ticked off though (Its a getting older thing, Right! Or maybe I plan to do more than I can. I'm told its better to over plan then under plan. It keeps the momentum rolling. lol)

I have enjoyed a couple of getaways to Somerset Dam, swimming, kayaking and camping, did some fishing and caught my first shark!Catching up with others for a meal, doing home days on the rainy days with movies and board game days, then the rest work and chores and all of life's other activities that keep me feeling alive. I'm sure we all live similar lives. The best part of living a life is the people in it and the peace we find doing what we love doing best.

I was on a group "Past Students of Bundamba High" (I can't remember the correct title of the group), and there were a couple of people promoting a school reunion (which it looks like is a SCAM), however they do have some great shirt designs (whatever you do don't click on the link, or if you do its at your own risk), but hey it would be great to get some shirts done up for 2027 Reunion. I've taken screen shots of the designs for reference for later down the track.

Anyhow I wanted to come here to check there is nothing dodgy going on our page and to say HI ALL!

BE HAPPY, STAY HEALTHY AND SAFE! And if you want to say something, ask a question, say hello, start a conversation ... there is the comments section in this post.

With Cheer and Care to you all,
Miranda :-)
