Supporting women in building fulfilling relationships and achieving balance and joy in their lives

The Lie of “Doing It All”

Mums in all seasons of your motherhood journey, let’s have a real talk. 💬

Somewhere along the way, we were sold the idea that a “good mum” does it all—without rest, without help, and definitely without complaint. 🤯

But let’s get real:
❌ Burnout is NOT a badge of honour

❌ Self-sacrifice does NOT make you a better mum.

❌ Your worth is NOT measured by how exhausted you are.

When YOU are well, your family thrives.

✨ Rested, joyful, and supported mums raise children who know their needs matter too.

It’s time to rewrite the script. You don’t have to do it all. And you shouldn’t.

💛 Drop a YES in the comments if you’re done with the self-sacrifice cycle!

📌 Save this for when you need the reminder: YOU MATTER.

Replenishing my own cup

This photo represents how far I’ve come in the years since l became a Mum

In the early days I felt guilty if I took myself out for a coffee or had time away from my kids.

Why?

For silly reasons & or thoughts really when I reflect back, but what I came to realise as I flexed the muscle of just allowing myself to receive and be in my own company - I was a better person for it.

It’s been a big few weeks in our household

🏫 Back to school
🥹 Managing emotions
😴 Tiredness
😊 Happiness & Excitement
🏉 Rep Sport
👩🏻 Advocating for your kids when they are a square peg in a round hole

📋 ALL THE THINGS

This Mumma Bear is a little shattered and we are only at the end of week 2 of term 1!!

So I took my own advice….

I paused

I nourished my body

Did a few nice things for myself

I did not fill my day with all the to-do’s, because to be honest that’s not what I needed. I needed to stop 🛑 and recharge and the rest will get sorted in order of importance.

I’m leaving this here as a reminder if you too need to give yourself permission to take a moment to pause.

Big Love xx

Welcome to 2025, beautiful souls! ✨

It’s been a hot minute since I posted here. If you are new here…welcome and if you have been following for awhile - thank you!

Either way I am grateful to have you here and I don’t take for granted your time and presence here in my pocket on social media.

If you’ve found your way here, this space is for YOU—a sanctuary for mothers who want more time, more joy, and a life that feels truly aligned.

This year, we’re setting an intention: Less stress. More presence. More YOU.

Because when the woman of the home feels supported, the whole household thrives. 🌿

I’m here to ensure you are Thriving in Motherhood no matter the season you are in and so throughout my posts I’ll be sharing ways in which to reduce stress in all areas of your life.

My one simple tip to reduce stress? (Let’s face it if you are here in Australia with all the back to school activity who isn’t experiencing it on some level?!)

…..Breathe before you react….

In those moments of overwhelm, pause, take a deep breath, and reset before responding. It’s a small shift that creates more peace in your day.

This year, I’m here to guide you in releasing guilt, setting boundaries, and prioritising yourself—so you can feel lighter, freer, and more connected to what truly matters. 💛

If you’re ready to start 2025 with intention and create more space for YOU. Please follow along, share my posts if you feel they will resonate with others or drop into my DM’s if you’d like to get the ball rolling with accountability and action by working with me 😊✨

Tell me: What’s ONE thing you want more of in 2025? ⬇️

🎉🎉🎉🎉 Birthday’s 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Birthday’s for me are always a time of reflection.

On Saturday it was my first born and eldest daughter’s 17th Birthday.

Oh my goodness there are so many lessons in letting go as you reach the pointy end of the teenage years with your kids.

In a blink they are getting their learner’s, then about to get their p’s, navigating friendships and changing at a rapid rate.

Nothing prepares you, you are learning how to support and nurture yourself & them in real time.

There is always gratitude though,

Gratitude that I am a mum.

Gratitude that I get to watch her and her siblings grow and bloom alongside myself and my husband as we’ve done the same.

This year I’ve felt the need or want for more TIME.

Despite for a number of years, making more space and time in our family schedule to just be.

Knowing that soon we will have a beautiful girl who has finished school and flying the nest to seek her own adventures.

They say you have 18 summers with your children. When it is put to you in that way, it really isn’t a lot of time is it?

I heard this quote quite a while ago and it really hit home and resonated a lot for me.

It popped up as the quote of the day on my meditation app the other day and I thought it was worth a share.

There is so much value in allowing someone to share something with you and truly listening to what is being shared.

So the next time somebody is sharing something with you, listen to understand, rather than to reply.

It takes practice, but what a gift it is to offer that to someone.

The older I get the more this resonates

This is something I wish I had grasped a lot earlier in life

Knowing yourself and being true to yourself I believe is where true happiness lies

We can veer off course in our journey through life…seeking things, people and validation external to ourselves

But when we can anchor into truly knowing who we are…that is where the magic 🪄 is

I read this today as it was shared on page and I felt strongly it deserved a permanent place on my feed.
The words of resonate so deeply. 💜

Friendships are such a big part of life.

I’ve been blessed to have some amazing friendships in my life.

As I reflect on them I am deeply aware not everyone has the same experience.

Some people never meet their people.

Friendships have been a constant in my life.

They are the things that keep me afloat when times are a little harder than you anticipate.

Friendships are also the things that make the special moments in life that little bit more wonderful.

Today, I’m sharing a story of a childhood friendship.

Melanie moved into my street on the GC when I was 8 years old.

Mel or Melly as she was affectionately known, was a twin and her brother along with my brother had some amazing adventures together.

Back then, there was so much more freedom for kids, no tech, just streets filled with bikes dumped randomly on lawns, running between houses and the rules were “be home by dusk”

Just breathe that in for a minute!

Melly , was a fun loving free spirit. She was physically strong, exceptional at sport and great at art. Our friendship was easy.

As we entered high school our friendship changed but we remained close.

Not long after finishing school Mel received a cancer diagnosis but went into remission at the end of her treatment.

As we embarked on overseas adventures and living life we remained in contact throughout each year.
A couple of years passed, I was living overseas and was home for a brief visit when I received a devastating call to say she had passed away.

She had received a cancer diagnosis for the 2nd time and within a couple of months she was gone.

A loss, an ending of life, way too young.

Today would have been Melly’s 47th Birthday

I reflect on all the things she didn’t get to experience.

I’m grateful for the memories, the photos, the music and experiences that are etched in my heart that pop in and out every year that remind me of her and our friendship.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Melly 🤍 miss and think of you often xx

Just jumped off my onboarding call for Conscious Course Creation - a 6 month course to design, build & be-ready to launch and deliver my program I’ve had in my mind for a few years now, but haven’t managed to find the support and tools I’ve needed until now.

I’m so excited to get started inside this container of like minded women who all have such amazing things to share.

If you are a woman who desires to create a course / program but feels everything out there on offer is un-achievable in amongst juggling all the things! I encourage you to check this program out!

Kat is a wealth of knowledge .courses

I’m looking forward to sharing what I’m working on in this gestation period in the lead up to birthing this program.

That will

✨ Breathe life back into the women who join my program that equips them with the tools, insights, and support they need to create a life that aligns with their values and fulfils their deepest desires. Unlocking their magic within ✨
