One on one nutrition coaching
I help women over 40 ditch the diet and lose fat without the rebound

15/06/2026

I work with women over 40 who are absolutely done with nutrition plans designed for 25 year olds.

Because guess what?

You are not 25.
Your body isn’t 25.
Your life isn’t 25.

And that’s not a problem to fix.
That’s actually your biggest advantage.

I started going to the gym when I was almost 40.
I’d been running for years and kept getting injured, so I decided I’d hit the gym, get strong, and go back to running as my main thing.

That was 2012.

I have never missed more than a week of training since.

No going back to running.
No going back to anything.
Just getting stronger, fitter and honestly… feeling better than I ever did in my 30s.

I’m 50 now. And feel like I’m in the best shape of my life.

Not because I found some magic method.
Because I finally stopped doing what wasn’t built for me and started doing what was.

That’s exactly what I help women over 40 do.

Eating out doesn’t have to mean a ‘free for all’ mentality. In The Essentials e cover this exact topic - eating well when life happens.
Restaurants, birthdays, holidays, road trips and even staying with the relatives who make ‘the best’ pasta 🙈
Real nutrition coaching isn’t just for the days when everything goes perfectly. It’s for the days when life is really hard.

Training doesn’t need to be punishment. It doesn’t have to be anything that you hate.
In week 9 of The Essentials, we work on building a movement habit that you actually want to keep. Not the moment that you think you have to do but the one that you know you’ll stick to.
The secret to making it stick? Enjoying it. Full stop.

What movement do you genuinely love?

Something I wish someone had told me earlier;
Putting yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s actually the most generous thing you can do for the people you love.
You can’t pour from an empty cup. You have to put your own life jacket on first.
When your health is an afterthought, everything else starts to suffer. Your energy, your patience, your fitness and happiness.
My clients come to me usually tired, feeling blah and they usually think it’s going to take a miracle to make them feel better. They’re ready to actually feel good but they feel like they’ve already tried everything and nothing will work. They don’t just want to look a certain way on the scale.
We always focus on feeling good first, what usually comes after is the best part. With feeling good, you start looking after yourself, start keeping promises that you made to yourself. When you do that…the body will follow.

The diet industry has made 💰 loads of dollars convincing you the problem is you.. it’s not.
Here’s why diets keep failing (and what actually works instead)
1. Diets are built to end. Life isn’t.
2. Restriction creates obsession. Every. Single. Time.
3. Real change happens in the habits you barely notice.

This is the ‘all-or-nothing’ trap.. and it’s one of the biggest reasons smart, capable women keep staring over on Mondays.
You don’t need another diet. You need a system.

I used to think I ate well. I didn’t eat much 🤷🏽‍♀️

I fully believed I had it all worked out.

I trained a lot. I bought the “healthy” foods that were low fat and high protein.
I was active with three kids and a business to run.
I thought because I trained a lot… I had nutrition sorted.

Then I tracked my food properly at first just for a week.

And it was one of the biggest reality checks I’ve ever had 😅

My protein was super low, my carbs were low too and fat was really high. I thought that almonds as a snack were a great idea 🙈
I realised how much I didn’t know.

Tracking over the weekend was a whole new story.
Overdoing the weekend wines and snacky bits.
Skipping meals then overeating later.
But as long as I trained more I thought everything would be ok.

I was thinking about my food based on feelings, not awareness. I ‘thought’ I knew what I was eating.
Sound familiar?

Tracking my food didn’t give me food obsession. It gave me education about his to structure my plate and my day.

It helped me understand:
• why I was hungry
• why my energy crashed
• why I kept feeling “out of control” around food
• why I felt stuck despite training so much

This is why I believe coaching matters so much.

Because sometimes you’re too close to your own habits to see what’s actually going on.

The end goal is a life without tracking but first it’s education while learning to trust your hunger cues, your feelings, your habits…or lack of?

I used to think I ate pretty well.

I trained hard.
I was active.
I bought the “healthy” foods.
I genuinely thought I knew what I was doing.

Then I got myself a nutrition coach. She asked me to track my food. I resisted big time! I said it was obsessive, too time consuming, no way to live my life 💁🏽‍♀️

It wasn’t that I was bad at eating.
But because there were so many things I simply didn’t know.

I thought:
• crackers and cheese was a light snack
• skipping breakfast balanced out wine on weekends
• salad automatically meant “healthy”
• training harder would fix everything

Meanwhile I was:
Under-eating protein
Overdoing the weekend blow-outs
Running on stress and caffeine
And constantly fiddling with my food trying to “get back on track”

What tracking gave me wasn’t restriction.

It gave me awareness.

Sometimes the problem isn’t motivation.
It’s that nobody has ever actually taught you how to feed yourself properly for your body, your goals and your stage of life.

That’s why coaching matters.

A coach can often see the patterns you can’t see yourself.
