🌈✨ KIDCHELLA SCHOOL DISCO! ✨🌈

Get ready to dance, sparkle and party at our KIDCHELLA School Disco! 🎶🪩🌴

📅 Thursday 3 September
🎟️ $10 entry – includes pizza & a drink!

💗 Junior Disco (K–3): 5:00pm–6:15pm
💙 Senior Disco (4–6): 6:30pm–8:00pm

There’ll be 🎵 music, 💃 dancing, ✨ festival fun, 🪩 disco vibes and plenty of novelties available for purchase on the night (cash & EFT accepted).

✨ Want to add some extra sparkle? Face & hair glitter will be available for just $2!

🌴 Students are encouraged to come dressed in their best festival gear and get ready for a night of fun!

We have just completed our two week swimming lessons at South West Sports Centre and absolutely love the addition of a communication board.

Thanks SWSC for helping not just our students, but the wider community to Learn, Grow and Belong. 💚🩵💛

A new way to communicate at the South West Sports Centre! 💬

We were proud to have our new Communication Board installed at the South West Sports Centre this week!

The new board is another step towards making our Centre more inclusive and accessible for everyone in our community.
Communication Boards use symbols, pictures and words to support people who may communicate in different ways, including people who are non-speaking or have difficulty communicating verbally.

And we’ve already seen it making a difference! 🙌
Within the first 30 minutes of installation, the board was being used by our patrons. 💙

It’s a small addition that can make a big difference, helping more people feel comfortable, confident and included when visiting the South West Sports Centre.

We’re committed to creating a welcoming space where everyone can participate, connect and communicate.

A special shout-out to Emily from Empower Every Voice and Laura from OutLoud Developmental Services for assisting with the planning and development of the Communications Board.

🌟 Room 21 Ends Term 2 on a High! 🌟

Room 21 wrapped up Term 2 with a well-earned PBS Hot Chip Party to celebrate their fantastic efforts throughout the term. 🍟👏

One of the highlights of Term 2 was the introduction of our weekly class PBS competition. The friendly competition has created a real buzz around the school, with students enthusiastically demonstrating our PBS values every day:

💚 I can be my best
💛 I can be kind and caring
💙 I can be safe

It has been wonderful to see students encouraging one another, celebrating success, and working together to earn points for their class.

The excitement doesn't stop there. The weekly PBS competition will continue in Term 3, and we can't wait to see which class wins each week to earn a class prize!
