We have a friendly magpie who has been showing up every single day and the children adore him 😍 This week we’re extending off this and learning about magpies & birds in general 🦅 Lucky enough we just got some new resources in from Naturally Playful including sensory sift and sort set, lotus flower bowls & small world play scene ♥️

Our friend, C.D pointed to the worm farm observer and said “wormies” another friend D.N said “where are they going?” And the third friend R.J said “gentle with wormy” 🪱 🪱 🪱 We extended off this by watching a short film about worms and making a home for them, which sparked the idea of feeding the worms old leaves on the ground. We grabbed our nature box and off we went on an adventure outside and collected all the old leaves that had fallen.
