Today we got creative with something we all love: Lego! Instead of building with our Lego blocks, we used them as stamps to create colourful patterns and prints. 🖌️✨

This fun activity encouraged the children to explore colours, shapes, patterns and textures, while developing their creativity and fine motor skills.

Who knew Lego could be so much fun outside of building? 💕🧱🎨

Cotton Sheep Craft

Today, we observe National Sorry Day, a time for reflection, acknowledgment, and standing in solidarity with the Stolen Generations. In the setting today, the children participated in a creative handprint art activity, using red, yellow, and black colours to honour Indigenous culture and history.

Through this hands-on activity, the children expressed creativity, built fine motor skills, and began to understand the significance of Sorry Day. We hope this sparked meaningful conversations and a sense of connection to our shared history.
