Join the Beach Break OT Team 🌊
Beach Break OT is looking for an allied health professional or allied health assistant to join us on the NSW South Coast.
We’re looking for someone who believes that therapy can happen anywhere through connection, meaningful activities, movement, nature and community.
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM:
- Occupational Therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Speech Pathologists
- Psychologists
- Exercise Physiologists
- Allied Health Assistants
- Anyone passionate about disability and aged care work
WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING:
Depending on your qualifications, experience and interests, the role may include:
- Delivering either self directed or OT directed 1:1 or small group surf therapy programs
- Writing notes
- There may also be opportunities to get involved in other surf therapy, outdoor programs, adventure-based activities and future retreats, depending on your skills and interests.
- Supporting group programs and community initiatives
- Supporting clients to build confidence, independence and life skills in and out of the water
- You’ll have the opportunity to work creatively, develop your own areas of interest and be part of a small business where your ideas and contribution genuinely matter.

THE PRACTICAL STUFF:
✨Casual / part-time position initially
✨Broulee
✨Mostly after school hours October- April
✨Experience working with children, young people, people with disability, mental health, neurodivergence, or community-based practice would be highly regarded.
✨Current driver's licence and Working With Children Check
✨Surf living saving cert (e.g. OSSCA or Bronze) or willingness to obtain
✨ First Aid Certificate
