NAIDOC Camp 2026
What a wonderful and meaningful way to conclude our week together on Country.
Our Year 3/4 students celebrated a special milestone in their faith journey, receiving the Sacrament of First Reconciliation with Father Brian during camp. This sacred occasion was followed by a beautiful Thanksgiving Mass, where we gathered as a school community to give thanks for the many blessings and experiences shared throughout the term.
The camp provided a rich opportunity for students to connect with culture, faith, community, and the land, creating memories that will stay with them for years to come. The joy, respect, and sense of belonging demonstrated by our students made the week truly special.
We also took time to farewell our wonderful Miss Julie and thank her for the care, commitment, and positivity she brought to our school community. We are deeply grateful for the difference she has made in the lives of our students and wish her every blessing and happiness in her future endeavours.
It was a joyful celebration of faith, friendship, culture, and community—a fitting end to a memorable term together. 🌿🙏✨

End of Term 2

Dear Families and students

As we finish Term 2, and I conclude my time at Christ the King School, I would like to take this opportunity to thank a number of people. Firstly the awesome students who arrive at school each day with big smiles, open hearts and a real joy to learn. You are so precious to us and I love working and playing with you each day. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each one of you. I wish you all the best in your studies and miss you already :) To the amazing staff who work diligently each day to provide care and safety at school, along with dynamic engaging programs including our much loved Culture and Language programs, well done on your fine work for the future of the community. We farewell Ms Julie Beer who has decided to return to her family in Melbourne and we will be able to update you with a new teacher very soon. Lastly thank you to our supportive parent body. Schools work best when they can work in partnership with parents and carers and I have appreciated that I have met so many of you and been able to work with you for the benefit of your children.
Please welcome Mr Andy Dalton who will replace me for Term 3 until Ms Sharon returns in term 4. Andy comes from Ursula Frayne College Perth, however has been relieving in Warmun this year. Welcome Andy!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful opportunity and privilege to work at your school this year, it has been my absolute pleasure.
