Congratulations to our amazing students who showed pride and determination at the Warringah Zone Swimming Carnival last Friday. A special shoutout to Mason C who was crowned Junior Boys age champion and broke the junior boys 50m backstroke record with a staggering time of 39.94 seconds. Best of luck to our students who are now heading to compete as part of the Warringah Zone team at the Sydney North Area Swimming Carnival. We’re cheering you on!!

Did you know that a quarter of our students participate in lunchtime Coding Club activities? Their hard work and creativity recently came to life at the Coding Showcase, where they proudly shared their projects. We're so proud to see our students exploring tech and having fun while learning!

Sunshine, laughter, and discovery filled the day as our eager Stage 1 students explored the Royal Botanic Gardens! They connected with nature and culture, learned traditional skills, explored diverse plant habitats, and made seed bombs—all while having fun and sparking their curiosity. What an unforgettable adventure of learning and connection!

NSW Teaching Gems Map | NSW Education Standards 27/10/2025

World Teachers’ Day will be celebrated in NSW on Friday, 31st October 2025. This year, NSW Department of Education will be bringing back the popular NSW Teaching Gems Map.

This campaign invites our Allambie Heights Public School Community to pin a gem to the NSW Teaching Gems Map, to recognise a teacher, past or present, who has made a difference to their child's lives and our school community.

In 2024, almost 10,000 heartwarming submissions were received on the NSW Teaching Gems Map. The map for 2025 is NOW live.

Thank you to Year 8 students Sophie, Walter and Inge from The Forest High who presented at our Honour Assemby yesterday. They confidently shared what you learn in Year 7 & 8 Geography and History. Such positive ambassadors for their school.
