And there it is, Finals Day done and dusted.

The U8’s ‘Champions’ after a super winter season, their 4th consecutive success (we believe) at the IFA competition. Absolutely brilliant.

Our U10’s group led the table all season and finished top on the final day, but they were unfortunately defeated on penalties in today’s final. Heartbreaking, but so much learning in among the disappointment.

Then our U12’s completed the winter term finishing 7th in a really competitive and big group of teams, which is actually an excellent performance and super preparation for next comp.

Most of all, beyond the results, there really has been some noticeable development in all age groups. The technical development has been extraordinary this term, that pursuit of a great first touch, footwork, body shape, one-versus-one skills is really beginning to become natural and you can see that in many of the players when they represent NYFA in IFA games. That’s really what warms our hearts.

Term 3 is underway, term 4 registrations are open and before we know it IFA summer comp will be upon us!
