Grandparents raising grandkids

uld have ended up in the foster care system. This massive responsibility and task is incredibly unselfish, an act of love and compassion! But it’s also a task that’s very taunting, tiring and sometimes overwhelming when a person is aged. Selfishly this group of grandparents solider on and look after their precious ones! All with heavy hearts that are lightened by the love they feel and receive from these lost babes

This group of grandparents have been tangled up in a battle with foster care and the birth parents (their own children) who have either been effected by drugs, alcohol or mental health issues, they have had to face many emotional trauma’s, being torn between their flesh and blood and what’s in the best interest of their grandchildren. This community page offers a place where grandparents can lean on for a little support, and encouragement. Posts here are all about grandparents and the children they have saved. This is not a religious organization or an ideology its simply a support group set up by ‘one such grandparent’ who has endured the core of this evolving child care problem and who understands that despite their own emotions being put aside, they too need to know they are not alone. This page is a place for open and honest communications a place to talk and share, which in turn can help build strength, resilience and appreciation. Page Owner
