Class of 1986 40 Year Reunion
What a wonderful night it was celebrating the Class of 1986’s 40 Year Reunion! πŸ₯‚
From Tasmania to Townsville, Old Boys travelled from near and far to reconnect, share stories and celebrate 40 years since leaving BGS.
From cheffing to finance, this class has certainly done it all! Most importantly, there was plenty of laughter, reminiscing and a few stories from their school days that clearly haven’t been forgotten. πŸ˜‚
A wonderful night of friendship, memories and connection.

As the winter sports season draws to a close, we celebrated a special piece of Brighton Grammar history – the 50th anniversary of the School's second-ever APS Premiership, won by the 1976 First XI Hockey team. πŸ‘
The current First XI were thrilled to welcome members of that premiership side before taking on Carey, hearing first-hand stories from a team that helped shape BGS sporting history.
The 1976 premiership marked a significant turning point under the leadership of Headmaster Robert Rofe. From being the "new kids on the APS block" to consistently punching above our weight, Brighton Grammar has built a proud sporting tradition.
Fast forward 50 years, and next weekend BGS will contest four APS Grand Finals – Basketball, Soccer, Rugby and Football. More information on this coming soon!
What a legacy. What a future.
Go Tonners! πŸ’™β€οΈ

Brilliant to see the support and excitement from Archie Ludowyke’s mates as he made his AFL debut on Sunday! πŸ’™β€οΈ
And Archie (OB 2025) delivered too – playing his part in Adelaide’s emphatic win and, most importantly, kicking his first AFL goal! πŸ™ŒπŸ‰
A pretty special day all round.

This is Josh. We love Josh.
Josh Duscher (OB 2020) is the kind of Old Boy who always puts his hand up. He's on the OBGS Committee, the Young Professionals Sub-Committee, and is always happy to get involved. What a legend.
This year, he's also captaining the BGS Old Boys team for Connor's Run on Sunday 13 September. Connor's Run is Australia's largest event for paediatric brain cancer and is held each September in memory of Robert Connor Dawes, a Brighton Grammar student and rower who passed away from brain cancer at just 18.
Needless to say, we'd really like Josh to have a big team.
So, consider this your sign to commit. Commit to a great cause, your own fitness, and spending the day running (or walking!) with this happy bloke. 18.8km, 9.6km, or the 3km Little Bird Loop – you choose!
Just don't leave it too long – places are filling fast, and we'd hate for you to miss your chance to join the team.

Friends and family are definitely welcome too. The more the merrier! πŸ’™β€οΈπŸƒ
