SCHOOL HOLIDAYS IN BRIGHT // We've emotionally said goodbye to Winter and we're already looking ahead to Spring.

Our popular School Holiday MTB Programs for kids (and adults!) are now open for booking, and we're getting excited to hit the trails again.

Here's what's on these school holidays:

- Holiday Shred Squad: group workshops for Beginner to Intermediate riders

- Shuttle Squad: full-day program using gravity uplift shuttles for Intermediate+ riders

- Girls Shuttle Squad: half-day program using gravity shuttles for Pre-Intermediate+ fgirls

- Intro to Jumps & Drops: 3-hour session to learn the fundamentals of getting in the air

- Guided Rides
- Private Skills
- Jumps Clinics
For kids & adults, daily/on-demand

All programs are run by qualified, local mountain bike coaches with unparalled local knowledge, relevant first-aid and Working with Children Checks.

Visiting Bright & Surrounds or Mystic Bike Park for the first time and not sure what to expect?

The Mystic Trailhead, on Coronation Ave, is where the adventure starts - and where all our MTB programs begin.

Here, you’ll find:

🚗 Plenty of parking onsite, with overflow parking nearby for the really busy days

🗺️ Trail maps for nearby MTB trails and gravel routes

🚲 Bike racks to hang your bikes while you wait for your mates

💧 Drinking water to refill before or after a ride

🏰 A Shelter to wait out the rain, avoid the sun, or sit and have lunch!

🛠️ A bike repair stand for those last minute fixes

🫧 A bike wash for getting rid of the mud and dust

The MTB trails start right here and, just across the road is Mystic HQ and the shuttle zone.

Term 3 Shred Squad is BACK 💥 We breed these mountain kids tough up here, and winter is an awesome time for riding in Bright so we keep it going all year long!

Tonight, our JUNIOR Squad worked on their vertical range of motion and getting lowwwwwww in the bike.

Last week was a bit of a wash-out for most of our MTB Holiday Programs due to heavy rain.

But we did get an amazing day on the trails on Saturday with our Holiday Shuttle Squad crew.

They made the most of the almost-Hero Dirt - and the muddy spots, too.

And don’t worry, the skids were contained to the fire roads and not the trails!

Our school holiday Shred Squad sessions are back this week on Wednesday and Friday, for little shredders aged 5+

Wednesday July 8 & Friday July 10

Intermediate Riders: 9am-11am
Pre-Intermediate Riders: 11.30am-1.30pm
Beginner Riders: 2pm-3.30pm

Holiday Shred Squad will encourage kids to learn and develop their MTB skills, to push their boundaries, conquer obstacles, and discover the joy of outdoor exploration with like-minded kids.

* All programs are led by qualified and experienced mountain bike instructors with first-aid certificates and Working with Children Checks.
