Making a Difference EverydayA Tribute to the Educator at Maingirba Early Learning Centre

"It takes a truly committed, talented individual to show up five days a week and meet the continuous demands of a room full of children.

"By always being so responsive and patient, you pave the way for our kids to feel safe, secure, and loved.""More than just teaching, you are truly making a difference in our children's lives—shaping who they are and who they will become.

"Thank you for your incredible dedication!⭐ HAPPY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS’ DAY ⭐

🤧The Far West Health service are urging families and carers to be aware of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a common respiratory virus that can cause serious illness, particularly in babies and young children.

🤒RSV can cause symptoms including a runny or blocked nose, cough and fever, and in some babies can lead to breathing difficulties and hospitalisation

😷Reduce the spread of RSV with good hand hygiene, keeping sick children away from day care, avoiding close contact with people who are unwell, and taking extra precautions when visiting vulnerable settings such as hospitals and aged care facilities.

🥼Parents and carers are encouraged to speak with their doctor, pharmacist or Aboriginal Medical Service about RSV.

🤒RSV can cause symptoms including a runny or blocked nose, cough and fever, and in some babies can lead to breathing difficulties and hospitalisation.

💉Immunisation can help protect babies from serious RSV illness. Pregnant women are recommended to receive the free RSV vaccine from 28 weeks of pregnancy to help protect their newborn baby. Some babies may also be eligible for RSV immunisation.
