✍️📖 Woollahra Young Writers' Award 2026 – open for entries!

Entries for the Woollahra Young Writers' Award are now open from Monday 20 April 2026 to Sunday 19 July 2026.

This local community award celebrates and encourages the voices of young people. It is open to secondary school students aged 12–18 years who live or study in the Woollahra area or neighbouring LGAs (Waverley, Randwick, and City of Sydney).

Students can submit original short stories or poetry. Shortlisted entrants receive a literary prize pack, and winners get cash prizes plus a mentoring session.

A great opportunity for young writers in Sydney's eastern suburbs to showcase their creativity.
