This is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions, explore our learning environment, and discover how we support children to become confident, capable learners.
Today we had the privilege of welcoming one of our Indigenous families into the centre to share culture, knowledge, and traditions with our children and educators.
A huge thank you to Adrian for teaching us about the Yidaki (traditional didgeridoo) and sharing traditional items including boomerangs, possum skin, and emu feathers. The children were engaged, curious, and excited to learn through this meaningful hands-on experience.
We are so grateful for opportunities like these that help us celebrate and respect Aboriginal culture and deepen our connection to Country and community 🤎🖤❤️

✨ Eid Mubarak to our wonderful community!
This week at our centre, the children have been learning about different cultures, traditions, and celebrations from around the world, including Eid. Through stories, crafts, music, and conversations, we have been exploring the importance of kindness, family, gratitude, and togetherness. 🌙💛
We love creating opportunities for children to learn about and celebrate the diversity within our community, helping them build respect, understanding, and curiosity about the world around them.

Little hands, big creativity 🎨✨
In the Nursery room we explored colours and textures through painting, supporting fine motor skills and self-expression. With a little guidance and lots of curiosity, our learners build confidence while having fun! 💛

Today we take a moment to remember and reflect for ANZAC Day.
In our learning space, the children have been exploring the meaning of remembrance and gratitude through meaningful experiences. We have been creating beautiful artwork, sharing storybooks that help us understand ANZAC Day and eating traditional ANZAC biscuits together for afternoon tea!
These activities have opened up thoughtful conversations about history, respect, and the importance of remembering those who served.
