Our final two days of Term 2
were an absolute blast! ππ
On Thursday, our school was awash with team colours as students celebrated Footy Fever Day. Everyone enjoyed their final NRL session with our fantastic coaches, Mel Gleeson and Mia, who have inspired and encouraged our students throughout the term.
It was wonderful to see so many members of our community involved, including our local daycare children and students from our neighbouring high school. A special congratulations goes to our Year 6 students, who demonstrated outstanding leadership by assisting with coaching activities and being wonderful buddies to our daycare friends. Their patience, kindness and enthusiasm made the day extra special.
A huge thank you to Mel, Mia, our high school helpers and everyone who contributed to making the day such a success. Days like these highlight the strong partnerships and community spirit that make Bombala Public School such a special place to learn and grow.
On Friday, we wrapped up the term with two sessions of fun to celebrate our students' hard work, dedication to their learning and the outstanding growth they have shown throughout the semester. Students were able to choose two activities from four exciting options: Over the River, table tennis, friendship bracelet making, and board games.
It was wonderful to see so much laughter, teamwork and creativity as students enjoyed spending time together and celebrating another successful term.
We are incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved this semester and hope all of our students, families and staff had a safe, relaxing and well-deserved holiday break.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow for another exciting chapter of learning!
