The Blackmans Bay Primary School Parents & Friends Fundraising Committee page is maintained by the P&F committee and is a tool to help to keep the school community informed and up-to- date with activities that are being organised and undertaken by the School Parents and Friends Fundraising Committee. To keep our page focused, we have some guidelines. This is not a forum for raising issues

regarding the school and its operations. To ensure exchanges that are productive, informative and respectful of diverse viewpoints, we will review all comments and we will delete any comments that are or include:
● Spam: Comments focused on selling a product or service, or comments posted for a purpose of driving traffic to a particular website for personal, political or monetary gain, will be removed.
● Personal Attacks: If you disagree with the content posted by either us or a member of the community, we’d like to hear from you, but ask that you refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others. Malicious intent and or participation not in the spirit of civil conversation will be removed.
● Offensive Language: Comments including but not limited to, profane or provocative language will be removed (which means that hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will not be tolerated).
● Private or Confidential Information: Please do not provide any of your specific account details or other personal information; this extends to private addresses, email accounts, Facebook logins etc.
● Off topic comments: comments posted that are not relevant to the original post or are related to school matters will be removed.

Bus timetables in Greater Hobart are changing from 3 May 2026.

Updated timetables will better reflect actual travel and traffic conditions, improving reliability.
From this date, Metro will also introduce new Sunday services to and from Brighton. Public
transport is free until Tuesday 30 June 2026, so it’s a great opportunity to give it a try if
you’re not a regular user.
These changes are the first step in the Greater Hobart Bus Network Review. State Growth is
also using community feedback gathered in 2025 to design future new routes and
timetables. This means changing where buses go, when, how often, and how trips link
together. State Growth will continue consulting on a draft new network throughout 2026, and
you will be able to have your say.
