As part of our Inquiry learning, students have been exploring what makes Berry Springs such a special place to call home. 🏡💚
We’ve been learning about how people, places and natural environments all work together to shape and connect our community.
To put their learning into action, students became local guides! 🗺️✨ They created their own visitor guides, showcasing three places to explore in Berry Springs and sharing why these special places are worth a visit.

We had a 'roar-some' maths lesson as we explored standard and non-standard units of measurement! Using dinosaur footprints, our own footprints, and rulers, students measured objects around the classroom and worked 'T-rexcellent' in groups, comparing their measurements and explaining their thinking.

We are incredibly proud of some of our middle and upper primary students who recently participated in the Palmerston Young Writers Festival Writing Competition. Their creativity, imagination and hard work were recognised at the festival's award presentation, and we are thrilled to celebrate their achievements.

Room 10 News
This term, Year 5/6 students are exploring a Geography unit, Many Countries, One Connected World. Throughout the term, they will investigate how Australia is connected to other countries through people, trade, travel, culture and the environment, while exploring how these connections influence the way we live.
Students will develop understanding as they compare places around the world and discover both the similarities and differences between countries and communities. They'll also explore how people can make a positive impact on places, both locally and globally.
Already our students are showing curiosity and enthusiasm as they begin this journey of discovering the many ways our world is connected. We can't wait to share more of their learning throughout the term!
