π Our Adventurers Have Been Busy Exploring the Wonderful World of Books! π
This week, our Adventurers have been enjoying spending time together reading a variety of stories, using their imaginations, asking questions, and sharing their favourite parts with their friends.
Reading from a young age plays an important role in children's learning and development. It helps to build early language and communication skills, expands vocabulary, strengthens memory and concentration, and encourages creativity and imagination. Story time also supports children's social and emotional development as they learn about different emotions, experiences, and perspectives through books.
Most importantly, reading together helps foster a lifelong love of learning and creates meaningful opportunities for connection.
We love watching our Adventurers develop a passion for books, one story at a time! ππ

Tell us a little about yourself!

What do you hope every family feels when they walk through our doors?
Welcomed, and that their child is safe in our care.
What is one thing you're most proud of about our team?
How incredible their relationships are with children and their families.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with my kids.
Do you have a favourite quote or piece of advice you live by?
"Everything is figure-outable."
What is one thing families might be surprised to learn about you?

We pride ourselves on our ability to create a sense of safety for both you and your children.
We hope you've enjoyed getting to know Caitlyn a little better. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming early learning community where your child will be nurtured, supported and encouraged to thrive, we'd love to meet you.

βοΈπβ¨ Christmas in July Fun! β¨πβοΈ
The Adventurers kicked off their week by celebrating Christmas in July!
The children were so excited to set up our Christmas tree for the day, so that's exactly what we did! With big smiles, lots of festive cheer, and our favourite Christmas songs playing, everyone eagerly helped decorate our beautiful tree.
It was wonderful to see the children working together, sharing decorations, and embracing the magic of the season. Celebrations like these encourage creativity, teamwork, and a sense of community, while creating special memories that will last a lifetime.
What a joyful way to start the week!

On Thursday, the Adventurers had a special visit from a dentist, who spoke with the children about the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene. The children learned why it is important to brush their teeth twice a day and how to brush them correctly to keep their teeth healthy and strong.
The dentist also shared a story about a little girl who developed a cavity because she did not look after her teeth. Through this engaging story, the children learned how regular brushing and healthy habits can help prevent cavities and keep their smiles bright.
This experience encouraged the children to develop an understanding of self-care and healthy lifestyle habits while building their confidence to take responsibility for their own wellbeing. It was a fun and interactive way to reinforce the importance of caring for our teeth.

π΄ββοΈπ Ready, Set, Ride! ππ΄ββοΈ
Our Explorers had an action-packed time outdoors, zooming around the yard on the bikes! Before hopping on, the children made sure to put their helmets on, helping them learn the importance of staying safe while riding.
As they raced around, the children practised taking turns with their peers, building their confidence, balance, coordination, and social skills. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, sharing the bikes, and having so much fun together!
Outdoor play provides endless opportunities for children to develop their gross motor skills, confidence, and friendshipsβall while enjoying fresh air and active play.

π Congratulations to Jay β Our Villager of the Month! π
Jay has been voted Villager of the Month by her fellow educators in recognition of her outstanding contribution to our team.
Since stepping into the Lead Educator position, Jay has made a seamless transition, showing confidence, dedication, and a willingness to support wherever needed. She even volunteered to step into the kitchen when requiredβand absolutely smashed it out of the park!
Jay is always a pleasure to work alongside, bringing a positive attitude, teamwork, and genuine care to everything she does. Both the children and the team are incredibly lucky to have her, and her hard work and commitment are truly appreciated.
Congratulations, Jay, and thank you for everything you do! π
