Last Friday, Veresdale State School invited us to their annual Small Schools NAIDOC Day.

It was a lovely day filled with connection, culture, learning and lots of fun!
Our students had a wonderful time coming together with other local small schools, taking part in a range of activities and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

A big thank you to Veresdale State School for inviting us and for hosting such a wonderful day.
We loved being part of this special celebration and sharing the day with our small schools community.

Your kindness, dedication and unwavering commitment to our students, staff and the entire Hillview State School community never go unnoticed. Thank you for the care, encouragement and positivity you bring each and every day. Your leadership inspires those around you, and your passion for creating a nurturing, welcoming environment makes our school such a special place.

It's often the little things that happen quietly behind the scenes that make the biggest difference—the countless acts of support, the thoughtful check-ins, the words of encouragement, the extra time you give, and the genuine care you show to every student, staff member and family. These moments may not always be seen, but they are deeply appreciated and never taken for granted.

Thank you for always going above and beyond, for leading with compassion, integrity and heart, and for making Hillview a place where everyone feels valued and supported.

💯 100 Days of Prep! 💯

Today we celebrated a very special milestone—100 days of Prep!
Our Prep students came dressed as their 100-year-old selves, and there were plenty of grey hairs, glasses, walking sticks, and lots of creativity on display.
To add to the fun, our teachers surprised the students by dressing up as Prep children! There were so many laughs throughout the day as everyone embraced the celebrations. 😊

In the afternoon, we welcomed our families to join us for a special presentation where our Prep students were awarded a certificate to recognise their first 100 days of learning, growth, and achievement.

Over the past 100 days, our little learners have built friendships, gained confidence, developed new skills, and become valued members of our Hillview school family.
We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and look forward to watching them continue to learn and shine throughout the rest of the year.
Congratulations, Preps, on reaching this wonderful milestone! 🎉❤️

Term 3 so far ☺️✨

What a fantastic start to the term!
We've been busy learning, growing, creating memories, and having plenty of fun along the way. From classroom adventures to special moments with friends, Term 3 is already shaping up to be a wonderful one.

We can't wait to see what the rest of the term has in store! 💛
