WANTED – WOODWORK TUTOR (PART-TIME)
We are currently seeking a Woodwork Tutor to join our team in Bayswater, on a part-time basis, working with individuals with special needs in a supportive and engaging environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, respectful, and passionate about teaching practical skills. Our participants are to be treated with dignity and respect at all times—just like anyone else—while enjoying a positive, light-hearted atmosphere.
About the Role:
• Deliver hands-on woodworking sessions to participants with varying abilities
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
• Support participants in developing skills, confidence, and independence
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs
Requirements:
• Previous woodworking experience (essential)
• Ability to work with people with special needs in a respectful and inclusive manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
Working Hours:
• Monday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
• Tuesday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
• Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:30pm (with a 30-minute break at 1:00pm)
There may be opportunities for additional hours as new classes are established.
