Congratulations to our Kindergarten students on celebrating 100 Days of Kinder today. It was wonderful to see them dress up as if they were 100 years old and enjoy the occasion with Mrs Brown and Mrs Jackson. Kinders had a yummy lunch at the bakery.

This morning St Mary's along with St Joseph's Adelong held our Public Speaking. A big thank you to judges Marg Sedgwick, Jean Skein, Marg Isselman and Janet Peel. Congratulations to all students who participated. Well done to Anna, Jack, Barney and Harley who will now go to Western Region Public Speaking in Cootamundra next week.

This morning, some of our staff and students had the privilege of attending the local NAIDOC Week Mass at McAuley Catholic College Tumut. We are all incredibly proud of our St Mary’s students who participated through the readings.

A special congratulations to Ms Ferguson and Ollie H on receiving NAIDOC awards. Across the Tumut, Gundagai, Batlow and Adelong cluster, six nominees were recognised, and we are extremely proud that two of those award recipients were from our school.

The wonderful work being led by Ollie and Deb is starting to come to life at St Mary’s, and we look forward to sharing more of these initiatives with our school community in the coming months.
