I’m so honoured to receive the Outstanding Family Day Care Educator Award for the Central West.
This recognition reflects the wonderful children, families, and community that makes Susannah’s Family Day Care such a special place for learning and connection.

Oh My Duckling 🐥

28/10/2025

Over the past month the children have been observing the ducks closely. We were blessed to see Mother Nature at her best. From the mother duck building her nest and keeping her eggs warm to the moment the ducklings finally hatched. Each day the children eagerly helped by giving fresh water, setting up a little duck bath, checking in on the nest, and even offering Mother duck a little treat. When the Mother Duck became broody we started a countdown to wait for the babies to arrive. 🐥

September gifted us with wattle, sparking curiosity and creativity. The children explored its golden blossoms through collage, song, light, drawing, and cutting. Each encounter revealing new possibilities and ways of seeing 💛
