Book Week brought a special visit to Barmera Library today, with Mayor Ella Winnall and CEO Tim Pfeiffer reading to reception, year 1 and year 2 students from St Joseph's School Barmera.

Tim was particularly happy to have the chance to read his favourite childrenโ€™s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The students were an enthusiastic audience, making for a lovely morning celebrating books, reading and storytelling.

A big thank you to the teachers and parents who put in the time and effort to make Book Week special for the students in our community.
