Week 7 at FJT!

National simultaneous story time 📚💛 Today we read the picture book ‘Luna Roo’ all at the same time.

Some of our Year 6 leaders attended the 'Our Lady Help of Christians Mass' at St Mary's Cathedral today. All students represented FJT beautifully 💛🙏🏽✝️

Year 3 invited KS over for buddy reading and to meet our newest arrivals. KS got a quick run down of the chick life cycle from their buddies, visited the chicks, watched two eggs begin to crack and even joined in for the voting of the name of our newest chick: Egg Sheeran.

Looking forward to our Athletics Carnival on Thursday & a reminder that Friday is a Staff Development Day (and therefore a Pupil-free Day). Have a great week FJT!

Congratulations to the week 4 award recipients ⭐️

We also had some extra awards presented by our SRC members for winning the Road Safety competition. Students created posters to promote “walk safely to school day”.

✨ What an incredible day at the annual Sydney Catholic Schools Eisteddfod! ✨

Our talented FJT dancers lit up the stage, proudly sending THREE jazz ensembles to compete, perform and celebrate their love of dance. 💃🪩

After countless before and after school rehearsals, weekend practices, dedication, laughter and enthusiasm, every single group shone brightly — and all three ensembles proudly walked away with a place on the podium! 🏆

An incredible achievement for our students, bringing home FJT’s very first three Eisteddfod trophies! We are beyond proud of the passion, teamwork, courage and talent shown by every performer on and off the stage. 🌟

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive families and talented community dance teachers for helping bring these showstopping performances to life. There is certainly no shortage of talent here at FJT! ❤️
