Our Year 6 students enjoyed an inspiring workshop with local artist Bradley Brown as part of the South East NOW exhibition at the East Gippsland Art Gallery. Brad shared his artwork, stories, and the meanings behind his symbols, encouraging students to have a strong vision and solid foundations in life. Students loved learning about Aboriginal culture, hearing Brad’s story, and creating their own artwork. Thank you to East Gippsland Art Gallery and Brad for this wonderful experience. 🎨✨🦅

✨ Our Year 4 students recently visited the Krowathunkooloong Keeping Place as part of their History unit. Through engaging with the displays, students deepened their understanding and appreciation of the rich history and culture of the Gunaikurnai people 🌿🖤💛❤️.

We were excited to welcome Mel and her beautiful dog, Vixon 🐶 to visit our Year 1 and Year 3 students yesterday!

Through fun discussions and role plays, students learned how to safely and respectfully approach dogs, recognise when a dog may not want attention, and always ask the owner first 🐾

It was a wonderful experience, and our students loved meeting Vixon while learning how to keep themselves and our furry friends safe 😊🐕

Our Year 1 students enjoyed the wonderful story The Day the Crayons Quit.

One afternoon, they returned from lunch to a big surprise… their chairs had quit! The chairs had disappeared but left a message: “Not happy Year 1, we deserve better! Push us in, keep your smelly feet off us and treat us with care please!"

The surprised students realised that the chairs were unhappy about being mistreated and had gone on strike. To win them back, the children wrote letters apologising and promising to take better care of them.

Luckily, the chairs forgave them and returned!
