Title - Love ( အခ်စ္)
Once upon a time, my father had a girlfriend who, he loved very much.
တစ္ခ်ိန္တုန္းက ကြၽန္ေတာ့္ရဲ႕အေဖမွာသူအရမ္းခ်စ္ရတဲ့ မိန္းကေလးသူငယ္ခ်င္းတစ္ေယာက္႐ွိခဲ့ဖူးပါတယ္။
But they were only very best friend.
ဒါေပမယ့္ သူတို႔ေတြဟာ တကယ့္သူငယ္ခ်င္းေကာင္းေတြသက္သက္ပါ။(ခ်စ္သူရည္းစားမဟုတ္)
He always knew that she had another boy to marry.
သူမမွာလက္ထက္ဖို႔အတြက္ေယာက်္ားေလးတစ္ေယာက္႐ွိၿပီးသားဆိုတာသူသိပါတယ္။
But my father and she were keeping talk with each others as much as they could.
ဒါေပမယ့္ အေဖနဲ႔သူမဟာ အခြင့္သင့္တိုင္းစကားေတြေျပာေနၾကဆဲပါ။
Sometime she was telling, bad things about her fiance.
တစ္ခါတစ္ေလမွာသူမဟာ သူမနဲ႔ေစ့စပ္ထားတဲ့အမ်ိဳးသားရဲ႕မေကာင္းေၾကာင္းေတြကိုေျပာျပေလ့႐ွိပါတယ္။
Sometimes she was telling.....
"I regret about my fiance, I feel so sorry about myself, I never should have loved him, but I can't do anything about this now, it's too late"
တစ္ခါတစ္ေလမွာေတာ့ သူမကဒီလိုေျပာပါတယ္...
"ငါေစ့စပ္ထားတဲ့လူနဲ႔ပတ္သတ္ၿပီး ေနာင္တရမိတယ္...။တကယ္လည္းဝမ္းနည္းတယ္...။ငါသူ႔ကိုဘယ္ေတာ့မွမခ်စ္သင့္ဘူး...။ဒါေပမယ့္ ဒီအခ်ိန္မွာငါဘာမွမတတ္ႏိုင္ေတာ့ဘူးေလ...။ေတာ္ေတာ္ေနာက္က်သြားခဲ့ၿပီ...။"
So...my father just listen to those sad stories and never asked her to give up him, and never asked the reason for not to love him or the reason about the regret.
ကြၽန္ေတာ့္ရဲ႕အေဖဟာ အဲ့ဒီ့ဝမ္းနည္းစရာပုံျပင္ေတြကိုနားေထာင္႐ုံသက္သက္ပါပဲ။အဲ့ဒီ့လူကိုလက္လႊတ္လိုက္ဖို႔ သူမကိုအၾကံမေပးခဲ့ပါဘူး။ ဒါ့အျပင္ အဲ့ဒီ့လူကိုဘာေၾကာင့္မခ်စ္တာလဲဆိုတာနဲ႔ ဘာေၾကာင့္ေနာင္တရေနတာလဲဆိုတဲ့အေၾကာင္းျပခ်က္ေတြကိုလည္း သူမကိုမေမးခဲ့ပါဘူး။
He always stayed calm nearby her, like a glacier.
သူဟာ သူမရဲ႕အနားမွာ ေရခဲျမစ္ပမာ တိတ္တိတ္ဆိတ္ဆိတ္သာေနခဲ့ပါတယ္။
But he was crying in heart every time she talked like that.
ဒါေပမယ့္ သူမအဲ့ဒီ့အေၾကာင္းေတြေျပာတဲ့အခါတိုင္း အေဖ့ရဲ႕ႏွလုံးသားထဲမွာငိုေနခဲ့တာပါ။
When they were talking, sometime she used to sing the tune of 'To Love Somebody by Bee Gees'. And she asked and told my father.....
"Don't you like that song? I like it very much".
သူတို႔ေတြစကားေျပာေနၾကတုန္း တစ္ႀကိမ္မွာ သူမဟာ ဘီဂ်ီးစ္ ရဲ႕ 'တစ္စုံတစ္ေယာက္ကိုခ်စ္ဖို႔' ဆိုတဲ့သီခ်င္းရဲ႕သံစဥ္ေလးကိုဆိုေနရင္း အေဖ့ကိုေျပာခဲ့ပါတယ္။
"နင္ဒီသီခ်င္းကိုမႀကိဳက္ဘူးလား...။ငါေတာ့ အရမ္းႀကိဳက္တာပဲ"
But my father never tried to listen to that song carefully or look at the lycris of that song.
သူမေျပာခဲ့ေပမယ့္ အေဖဟာအဲ့ဒီ့သီခ်င္းကိုေသေသခ်ာခ်ာနားေထာင္ဖို႔ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ အဲ့ဒီ့သီခ်င္းရဲ႕စာသားေတြကိုၾကည့္ဖို႔ တစ္ခါမွမႀကိဳးစားခဲ့ပါဘူး။
He just listened to that song like any other songs.
သူဟာအဲ့ဒီ့သီခ်င္းကို အျခားသီခ်င္းေတြလိုပဲ နားေထာင္႐ုံသက္သက္သာနားေထာင္ခဲ့တာပါ။
Though, things happened like that way, my father never asked from her.
အဲ့ဒီ့လိုေတြျဖစ္ပ်က္ေနခဲ့ေပမယ့္လည္း အေဖဟာသူမကိုလုံးဝခ်စ္ေရးမဆိုခဲ့ပါဘူး။
It's because, he knew that her fiance was rich than him.
ဒါဟာဘာေၾကာင့္လဲဆိုေတာ့ သူမနဲ႔ေစ့စပ္ထားတဲ့အမ်ိဳးသားဟာ သူ႔ထက္ပိုခ်မ္းသာတယ္ဆိုတာသူသိေနခဲ့လို႔ပါ။
So he wanted to give better life to her.
ဒါေၾကာင့္ သူဟာ သူမကိုပိုေကာင္းတဲ့ဘဝတစ္ခုကိုေပးခ်င္ခဲ့တာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
And my father thought, asking from her, while she was having a fiance, was not ethical.
ၿပီးေတာ့ အေဖစဥ္းစားခဲ့မိတာက သူမမွာေစ့စပ္ထားတဲ့လူ႐ွိေနရက္သားနဲ႔ ခ်စ္ေရးဆိုတာဟာ လူ႔က်င့္ဝတ္နဲ႔မကိုက္ညီဘူးဆိုတာကိုပါ။
He didn't only really love her, but also he had a great respect about her.
သူဟာ သူမကိုခ်စ္႐ုံသာခ်စ္ခဲ့တာမဟုတ္ပါဘူး အရမ္းကိုလည္းေလးစားခဲ့တာပါ။
When time passed one day she told my father that she is going to marry her fiance.
အခ်ိန္ေတြကုန္လြန္ၿပီးတစ္ေန႔မွာေတာ့ သူမဟာ ေစ့စပ္ထားတဲ့အမ်ိဳးသားနဲ႔လက္ထပ္ေတာ့မယ္လို႔ အေဖ့ကိုေျပာျပခဲ့ပါတယ္။
And she cannot talk to my father any more but she wants to keep the true friendship, in her heart forever and asked my father to do so too.
ၿပီးေတာ့သူမဟာ အေဖ့ကိုေနာက္ထပ္စကားေတြေျပာႏိုင္ေတာ့မွာမဟုတ္ေပမယ့္ သူတို႔ရဲ႕စစ္မွန္တဲ့ခင္မင္မႈကိုသူမရဲ႕ႏွလုံသားထဲမွာ အျမဲသိမ္းထားခ်င္ေၾကာင္းေျပာခဲ့ျပီး အေဖ့ကိုလည္း အဲ့ဒီ့လိုပဲသိမ္းထားမလားေမးခဲ့ပါတယ္။
My father never wanted to break up with her.
အေဖဟာသူမနဲ႔ဘယ္ေတာ့မွမခြဲခြာခ်င္ခဲ့ပါဘူး။
At the same time he didn't want to hurt her heart too.
တစ္ခ်ိန္တည္းမွာပဲ သူဟာ သူမရဲ႕ႏွလုံးသားကိုလည္းမနာက်င္ေစခ်င္ျပန္ပါဘူး။
So he promised her that he never talks to her again, and he also promised to keep the friendship and her memories in his heart forever.
ဒါေၾကာင့္အေဖဟာ သူမကိုဘယ္ေတာ့မွစကားေျပာေတာ့မွာမဟုတ္ေၾကာင္းနဲ႔ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ ခင္မင္မႈနဲ႔ သူမနဲ႔အမွတ္တရေတြကို သူ႔ရဲ႕ႏွလုံးသားထဲမွာ ထာဝရသိမ္းဆည္းထားမွာျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ကတိေတြေပးခဲ့ပါတယ္။
After around fifteen years of this, he always used to ask from himself,
did she love him ever? And did he do something wrong to her?
ဆယ့္ငါးႏွစ္ေလာက္ၾကာၿပီးတဲ့ေနာက္မွာေတာ့ အေဖဟာ သူမအျမဲတမ္းသူ႔ကိုခ်စ္ခဲ့တာလားနဲ႔ သူမအေပၚကိုသူအမွားေတြလုပ္မိခဲ့လားဆိုတာေတြကို သူ႔ကိုယ္သူ ျပန္ေမးေလ့႐ွိခဲ့ပါတယ္။
Those questions were haunting in his mind always.
အဲ့ဒီ့ေမးခြန္းေတြဟာ သူ႔ရဲ႕စိတ္ကို အျမဲေျခာက္လွန္႔ေနခဲ့တာပါ။
One day he listened to that song 'To love somebody' accidentally on radio.
တစ္ေန႔မွာေတာ့ သူဟာ 'တစ္စုံတစ္ေယာက္ကိုခ်စ္ဖို႔'ဆိုတဲ့ အဲ့ဒီ့သီခ်င္းကိုေရဒီယိုမွာ မေတာ္တဆနားေထာင္ခဲ့မိပါတယ္။
Then he listened, very carefully every word of in that song.
သူဟာ အဲ့ဒီ့သီခ်င္းထဲက စာသားေတြတိုင္းကိုေသေသခ်ာခ်ာနားေထာင္ၿပီးတဲ့အခါမွာေတာ့....
Then he cried a lot same as on the day which said goodbye to her!!!
သူဟာ သူမနဲ႔ႏႈတ္ဆက္ခြဲခြာခဲ့ရတဲ့ေန႔တုန္းကလိုမ်ိဳး အသည္းအသန္ငိုခဲ့ရပါတယ္။
Now my father died. I had to read his almost all dairies to gather this scattered story to put together.
အခုေတာ့ ကြၽန္ေတာ့အေဖေသသြားခဲ့ပါၿပီ။
ကြၽန္ေတာ္ဟာ အေဖ့ရဲ႕တစစီျပန္႔က်ဲေနတဲ့ပုံျပင္ေလးကိုစုေဆာင္းဖို႔အတြက္ သူ႔ရဲ႕ ဒိုင္ယာရီအားလုံးနီးပါးကို ဖတ္ခဲ့ရပါတယ္။
