The NGV Winter Masterpieces exhibitions have always been a hit with me. Winter, cold weather and art somehow go very well together, and even more so when you add periodic COVID restrictions to the mix. It seems that in the past few months we, in Melbourne, started to develop this new lockdown-on-lockdown-off way of going about things when you can (provided you are well masked, have procured your tickets in advance and solemnly swear to obey the rules of social distancing) carefully indulge in some entertaining in public....
