We were blown away by all the amazing costumes, creativity and book-inspired magic! 🧙‍♀️🦸‍♂️🐉📖 It was so much fun seeing everyone bring their favourite characters to life. 💛

A HUGE thank you to all the wonderful parents who supported our Book Sale. We were thrilled to see so many books find new homes! 📚❤️

Our Book Week Parade is TOMORROW at 9:00am!
Undercover area

Students are invited to dress as their favourite book character.
Families and friends are welcome to join us.

At the conclusion of the Parade, the P&C will be having a booksale in the P&C room, feel free to have a browse and take home a classic!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ FACTION CARNIVAL DAY – WE NEED YOUR HELP! 💙💚❤️

Our Faction Carnival Day is on Wednesday, 2nd September, and we’re getting everything ready for a fantastic day of fun, teamwork and school spirit! 🎉

To help make the day a success, we would love some help from our wonderful school community.

🧁 SWEET & SAVOURY DONATIONS 🍪

We would greatly appreciate donations of homemade or store-bought treats for our food stall. Cupcakes, cookies, brownies, savoury treats and other goodies are all welcome! 🧁🍰

Every donation helps us make the day a success and supports our school. 💕

🙋‍♀️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We would also love your help for an hour or two on the day at the food stall, serving up all the delicious treats and helping things run smoothly.

Whether you can donate some goodies, spare an hour, or do both, every little bit helps! 🌟

📍 Food donations can be dropped off at the Food Stall or Breakfast Club Room on the morning of the Carnival.

🏃‍♀️🏅 SPORTS CARNIVAL IS NEXT WEEK! 🏅🏃‍♂️

Get ready for a fun-filled day of cheering, running, relays and supporting our amazing students and your favourite Faction Team!

🍕 P&C Pizza Lunch
The P&C will be selling pizza for lunch.
Meal Deal for students includes: 1 slice of pizza, homemade lemonade and a piece of fruit.
Pre-orders are essential and close Monday 31 August.
Don’t miss out—get your orders in early!

🍔 Food Stall
Missed the pizza pre-order? No worries! Our P&C food stall will have a selection of food and drinks available to purchase.

☕ Coffee Van
Need your morning coffee fix? A coffee van will also be available in the morning for hot drinks purchases.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and cheering on our students! Events start at 10 am.

📚P&C Booksale 📚

With our upcoming Book week ‘Symphony of Stories’ celebrations, we are having not one but two opportunities to enjoy our Book Sale.

Tomorrow Wednesday 26 August, Students will visit the P&C Book Sale with their class. Students wishing to purchase books are reminded to bring their money to school.

Friday 28th of August the Book Sale will be open after our Book week Parade for Parents & Carers to have a browse.

What a weekend of opportunities and growth!📚✨

Paige and Cherie represented our Ashfield P&C at the WACSSO Conference alongside around 200 school communities across differing parts of our state!

We all came together with one mission:
Every child thrives. 🌈

Spread across two jam-packed days of fun and knowledge included speeches from our Education Minister Sabine Winton and highlight guest speakers from zero2hero Ashlee Harrison, Voices of the Future (incredible!) and the magnificent Jana Pittman 🥇
Additionally, participating in valuable workshops on outdoor play, how to keep calm while connecting with your kids, inspiring containers for change and our carbon footprint - these two ladies for sure have come away full of inspiration! 😃

We cannot wait to present everything we have learnt at our next P&C meeting on Tuesday the 1st of September!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our fundraiser!

From everyone who generously donated food, helped with preparation and cooking, volunteered their time, and of course, our wonderful community who came along to purchase a sausage sizzle — we couldn’t have done it without you!

And a special thank you to everyone who said “keep the change” — every little bit makes a big difference! 🥰

It was a huge success, and we are so grateful for the incredible generosity and support shown to our P&C and our school community.

📸 A special thank you to Dave Kelly MP for taking a few photos during your purchase! It was such a busy day that we barely had a chance to take any ourselves, so we really appreciate you capturing some of the moments for us!
