Last week we proudly celebrated Education Week, showcasing the incredible learning, creativity and community that makes our school so special.

This week, we step into National Reconciliation Week with the theme “I’m In”, and participate in the National Simultaneous Storytime. Our students have been exploring “Many Cultures, One World”, building understanding, respect and connection across our community.

It’s been a big and joyful term so far - from lightning premiership sports and cross country, to house events and rich classroom learning.

Our very first Grade 6s received the school’s first ever Grade 6 t-shirts! A proud milestone marking leadership, growth and the beginning of a new tradition.

What an incredible way to begin our journey at Biyala Primary School! 🌟

Our very first term as a brand new school has been filled with excitement, connection and so many special moments. From meeting new friends and building relationships, to exploring our learning spaces, our students have embraced every opportunity with curiosity and enthusiasm!

We have loved seeing our school community come together: families, students and staff, creating a strong sense of belonging from day one. Every smile, achievement and small step has helped shape the vibrant culture we are so proud of.

As we wrap up Term 1, we celebrate all we have built together and look ahead to Term 2 with excitement!
