🍎🥕 Healthy Eating & Exploring Fresh Foods 🌽🍓

Our little learners have been enjoying exploring a delicious variety of fresh fruits and vegetables! We’ve noticed just how much the children love fresh produce, and they’ve even been requesting different foods to try. 💚

Sultanas and corn on the cob have been two big hits! 🌽✨ It’s wonderful to see the children showing curiosity about healthy foods, making choices and enjoying new tastes and textures.

Encouraging healthy eating from an early age helps children build positive relationships with nutritious foods. 🍓🥦

✨ Kindness is our superpower! 💛🦸‍♀️

Last Friday we were thrilled to welcome Jewelz A Hoopz with her engaging and interactive show, “Superpower of Kindness”! 🌟

Through fun, connection and meaningful messages, our students explored the power of kindness, self-love, positive choices, communication, identity, connection and overall wellbeing. 💫

A wonderful reminder that we all have the power to make a difference — one kind choice at a time! 💛✨

Tonight we had the pleasure of taking our amazing educators and Preschool Committee members out for dinner — a chance to relax, enjoy some great food and conversation, and celebrate the incredible team of people behind Armidale Montessori Preschool. 🥂✨

We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated, caring and passionate group of educators, together with a volunteer Committee who generously give their time and support to our Preschool.

A wonderful evening with wonderful people — and a very well-deserved night out! 💕🌿

🤪🌈 CRAZY HAIR DAY FUN! 🌈🤪

Things were looking a little WILD at Armidale Montessori Preschool today as we celebrated Crazy Hair Day! 😂💇‍♀️💇‍♂️

We had colourful hair, crazy creations, wild styles and plenty of fabulous looks! 🌈✨ The children absolutely loved showing off their hairstyles and checking out the amazing efforts of their friends and educators.

There were lots of smiles, giggles and excitement throughout the day — and we just love seeing everyone get into the spirit and have some fun together! 💛

A huge thank you to our wonderful families for helping create some truly spectacular hairstyles this morning. We know Crazy Hair Day can require a little extra effort before Preschool! 😆🙌

📚✨ A Wonderful Book Week Adventure! ✨📚

Our Bambini children had a fantastic excursion to the Armidale War Memorial Library as part of our Book Week celebrations! 📖💛

The children enjoyed the adventure of walking to and from the library, where they took part in a fun-filled morning of story time, craft activities and exploring the wonderful world of books. They even had the opportunity to choose and borrow some books to continue enjoying back at Preschool! 📚🎨

We were incredibly proud of our children throughout the excursion. 🌟 They listened beautifully, followed instructions, walked safely and were calm, curious and wonderfully engaged in all of the activities.

A big thank you to the Armidale War Memorial Library for welcoming us and making our visit such an enjoyable experience. What a lovely way to celebrate our love of books, stories and learning! ❤️📚

📚✨ BOOK WEEK DRESS-UP DAY! ✨📚

What a fantastic way to kick off our Book Week celebrations! 🌟

Our Preschool was absolutely bursting with colour, imagination and excitement this morning, with so many beautiful butterflies, fairies, princesses, robots, superheroes and favourite characters arriving through the doors! 🦋🧚‍♀️👸🤖🦸‍♂️

A huge thank you to all our families for getting into the spirit of the day — and a very special shout-out to ALL of our amazing staff who came dressed up too! 👏💛 We love seeing everyone joining in and making these special days so much fun for the children.

And the celebrations aren't over yet…

We’re finishing the day with a DANCE PARTY this afternoon! 🎉🎵 We can’t wait to see our fairies, superheroes, princesses, robots and butterflies showing us their best moves!

👀 StEPS Vision Screening at Montessori 👀

Our 4–5-year-olds have been busy putting their super sight to the test! 👓😊

On Monday and again today, we welcomed Community Health Services to Montessori for the StEPS (State-wide Eyesight Pre-schooler Screening) program.

The children did a fantastic job taking part in their free vision checks — an important way of helping to identify any vision concerns early and making sure those little eyes are ready for all the learning and adventures ahead!

A big thank you to Community Health Services for visiting us and making the screenings such a positive experience for our children. 💛

🎨✨ Exploring the magic of painting by experimenting with colours, mixing shades, and discovering how new colours are created. Every brushstroke sparked creativity, curiosity, and confidence as they expressed themselves through art. 🌈🖌️

There was plenty of excitement at preschool as our children transformed into butterflies, superheroes, tigers, unicorns, and so much more with some colourful face painting! 🦋🦸🐯🦄

Face painting isn't just fun, it encourages imagination, creativity, role play, and confidence as children become whoever they dream to be.
