Attention Primary School Families: A member of our Kindergarten class has misplaced her glasses. We have been unable to locate them at school. Could all families please check school bags just in case they were accidentally sent home in the wrong bag. Thank you!

This afternoon Aunty Flick and Aunty Chloe are representing our Preschool at the NSW regional SNAICC gathering in Dubbo!! Earlier this year we were invited by SNAICC to speak at the conference to share with fellow Early Childhood Educators about our Preschool. They will be presenting a 20 minute presentation about the projects that we have undertaken at the Preschool to hopepully inspire others. Thank you so much to SNAICC for inviting us to share about our amazing Preschool and for providing the conference and accomodation free of charge as well as the opportunity to engage in such an amazing experience. We wish Aunty Flick and Aunty Chloe all the best as they proudly represent Minimbah this afternoon ❤️🖤💛 SNAICC-National Voice for our Children

Each year, the 26th May marks National Sorry Day, acknowledging the Stolen Generations - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children forcibly removed from their families. National Sorry Day is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about and acknowledge the truth of Australia's Stolen Generations history and the ongoing, intergenerational impacts caused by past policies of forced removal.
Today, our preschool children acknowledged National Sorry Day by coming together to learn about the importance of kindness, respect, and reconciliation. Through age-appropriate discussions, stories, art, and reflection, the children explored the meaning of saying sorry and caring for one another. We recognise the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and honour the Stolen Generations as we continue to nurture understanding, empathy, and connection within our learning community.
