Adult classes are well underway. I have a lovely group of ladies who are creating some beautiful whimsical flower still lifes. The most amazing thing is how individual and different each piece becomes! I love that about my job watching people ideas come alive.

The 7-11 year olds began the term exploring the amazingly detailed work of Yayoi Kusama producing some really funky mushroom designs. We explored the concept of Yayoi's style being very flat and graphic. Then we moved on to explore the works of landscape artists Hans Heyson and Albert Namatjira looking at concept of background, middle ground and foreground, learning how to add perspective to our designs using tone and size to producing some monochromatic landscapes. Watch this space to see how they evolve.🤩

Wow half way through term 3!
Teen designs are looking specie with our themes of the Mexican festival, The Day of the Dead and learning the mediums of mono-printing techniques and mixing charcoal and acrylic paint.

Join me and enjoy some relaxed creative time being inspired by the work of a range of artists who create beautiful flower still life paintings! Over 3 consecutive weeks of 2 hour classes we will create our own whimsical still life design in acrylic paints. We will explore the concepts of composition, tone and colour schemes along with techniques in acrylics to create your own A2 Master piece.
No experience required just your own creative mindset and desire to make something beautiful in a relaxed and fun environment.
Classes run Mondays 6pm or Tuesdays 10am, max of 8 students
