A big thank you to everyone who joined us at this morning’s Language Cafe! ☕️🌎

It was great to see the cafe buzzing with conversation, laughter and languages from around the world.

We were also pleased to have local MP Justin Clancy join us for a coffee and a chat, and to experience the community spirit that our Language Cafe is all about.

Our language classes are starting back up this week, and what better way to celebrate the start of a new term than with another Language Café in just a couple of weeks 🌎☕️

One of the highlights was hearing so many languages being spoken around the room, including Swahili, Sinhala, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and German.

After hosting a couple of successful morning Language Cafés, we’re trying something new - an AFTER WORK Language Café!

Come unwind after work, grab a coffee or drink, and chat with others in a welcoming space. Bring a friend or come on your own, we’d love to see you there!

Meet 2026 Tomorrow Makers Kristie Ivone & Sanna Lundmark, Co-Founders of Boas Language Academy.

Based in Albury Wodonga region, Boas delivers immersive, engaging language courses for children and adults, while creating employment pathways for migrants to become language teachers.

Through their work, Boas is strengthening cultural connection, fostering belonging, and unlocking the potential of multilingual communities across regional Australia. And turning language from a barrier into a connector across regional Australia.

Thank you to everyone who took part in another language café event, held today at Meraki Kitchen. It was great to meet and welcome new people to our Boas community, as well as seeing familiar faces this beautiful morning. We already look forward to the next one!
