A reminder that sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply notice, check in, and really listen.
In early childhood, we spend so much of our day caring for others — our children, families and each other. But the people doing the caring need care too.
So today, and every day, ask the question: R U OK?
You don’t need to have the answers. A conversation and knowing someone genuinely cares can make a difference. 💛

Our amazing educator Katie is going to her uni graduation next week, so yesterday our David St centre had a little afternoon tea party for her 😊 Our children loved talking and learning about university, graduation, and what the tassels on the graduation cap mean 😊

To educators everywhere: Thankyou for showing up, caring deeply, and giving so much of yourselves to our children and families. The work you do is so important.

We’re so excited to be part of the Central Great Southern Early Years Conference this September!

Skylar Early Learning will be there with our own stall, and as we start planning, we’ve been thinking about what we want it to be.
More than anything, we want it to be a space for educators and early learning professionals.

A place to stop, connect, have a chat, take something useful away and hopefully leave feeling a little inspired and appreciated for the incredibly important work you do every day.
So we’d love your help. 💛
