🎉 Two years ago today, we opened our doors as two passionate teachers with a dream — to share our love for the Italian language and culture with our community. 🇮🇹❤️
What began as a small idea has grown into something truly special — a vibrant community of families, little learners, and dedicated students of all ages. Watching your children take their first steps in the language, and seeing our older students progress towards becoming confident, fluent speakers, fills us with immense pride. 💫
We are so grateful for every family who has walked through our doors, for every coffee shared, every “ciao,” and every milestone along the way. Thank you for believing in our dream and helping us build this beautiful community.
Here’s to everything we’ve achieved together and to an exciting future ahead, filled with even more learning, culture and Italian magic! 🇮🇹✨

🌧️ Rainy Day Italian Fun! 🇮🇹☔️
Don’t let the rain stop the divertimento! Here are some cozy and playful indoor learning activities to help your little ones soak up Italian while staying dry:
1. 🍝Cucina finta (pretend kitchen)– Let your toddler cook up a storm! Use real utensils or toy food and practise saying pane (bread), latte (milk), pizza, and more.
2. 🤗Giochi sensoriali (sensory play)– Fill a tub with pasta cruda (dry pasta), riso (rice), or fagioli (beans). Hide little objects and say the names in Italian as your child finds them.
3. 📚Storie sotto la coperta (storytime under the blanket)– Snuggle up with an Italian picture book or listen to an audiobook together.
4. 🎶🕺Canzoni e balli (songs and dancing)– Play Italian nursery rhymes like ‘Giro giro tondo’ or ‘Il coccodrillo come fa?’ and have a mini dance party in your lounge room.
5. 🎨Disegno con le dita (finger painting)– Use washable paints to explore colours in Italian: rosso, giallo, verde, blu! Draw an outline of an object and get children to colour in their favourite colour - ‘Disegna con il tuo colore preferito’ or Colora con il Blu!
6. ☝️Tombola dei numeri– Play a simple number bingo using numbers uno to dieci. Call them out in Italian for some number fun! 🧸 Tea party time!
Set up a pretend merenda (snack) with teddies and dolls. Practise saying per favore (please) when asking for biscotti and grazie (thank you) when receiving them!
🎭 Role play fun
Take turns being the negoziante (shopkeeper) and the customer. “Un gelato, per favore!” “Ecco a te. Grazie!”
🎨 Craft time talk
While sharing markers or stickers, model how to say:
“Posso usare il rosso, per favore?”
“Grazie!”
Even on the cloudiest days, language learning can shine ☀️
