Today, the children had a blast with Halloween-themed activities, mixing bubble potion ingredients of bubble mix, water, and paint, then adding creepy-crawlies like rats, snakes, and eyeballs! Their imaginative play and enthusiasm were fantastic. We also enjoyed a game of Halloween Freeze and a dance session, where the children became zombies, ghosts, and black cats.
To cool off, we played with the big dinosaur sprinkler, and Flynn led a “boat” adventure, working together to “anchor” when needed.
Lunchtime brought fun conversations about favourite foods: Oaklynn loves bananas, Elsie enjoys carrots, Flynn likes icy poles, and Pat’s favourite breakfast is chocolate slice. We ended the day with ice creams to celebrate Flynn’s birthday—a magical day all around!

Wednesday 14th August
For Science Week, we explored the Magic Milk experiment! The children were amazed as vibrant colours swirled across the milk, sparking their curiosity and fostering connections with friends. It was heartwarming to see them confidently exploring indoors and outdoors, building meaningful connections with each other and their surroundings. Wednesday 07th August 2024
Today was our first Wednesday open, and we welcomed two new friends, Lily and Xanthe, who settled in beautifully! The children had a blast brushing "teeth" with shaving foam for Dental Health Week, building fine motor skills and learning about hygiene. The mud kitchen was also a hit, inspiring creativity and teamwork as they mixed up some sandy "dishes." Looking forward to more joyful play and friendships ahead!
