MILEVA MARIĆ EINSTEIN, a Serbian mathematician and Albert Einstein's first wife, died (August 4) in 1948. There are claims that she contributed to Einstein's early works, but the degree of her participation in the findings is unknown and even today it is the subject of numerous debates.
