As we celebrate Laudato Si’ Week (17-24 May), we’re reminded of our responsibility to care for God’s creation.
Together, we’re learning simple, healthy habits that protect our environment and nurture a sustainable future for all, especially the poor.
By making mindful choices today, we are empowering our children to be responsible global citizens to ensure a cleaner, greener world for them, and generations to come. 🌿💚

At assembly today, we continued our Pentecost theme with students joyfully singing prayers and acting out the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles—often seen as the birth of the Church. Each child received a fire-coloured cookie inscribed “Come, Holy Spirit,” a beautiful reminder to invite God’s light, guidance, and comfort into our hearts.

A blessing for Mother's Day 🩷
Loving God,
Today we give thanks for mothers, grandmothers, carers, and all women who nurture others with love, courage, and generosity.
Bless them for the countless ways they give of themselves — through their patience, guidance, wisdom, encouragement, and care.
When they are tired, give them rest.
When they feel unseen, remind them how deeply valued they are.
When life is difficult, surround them with strength, peace, and hope.
May they know the joy of being appreciated, the comfort of belonging, and the love of those whose lives they shape each day.
Help us to honour the women who have guided us with kindness and compassion, and may we learn from their example of love.
We especially remember mothers and loved ones who are no longer with us, holding them gently in our hearts today.
May your blessing be upon all mothers this Mother's Day and always.
