Introducing our fabulous panelists for Growing the Future 2025
Nic Kentish is a South Australian agricultural consultant and educator focused on regenerative farming. Raised on a family farm, he specialises in grazing management and soil health. Nic hosts The Warble Podcast and works with Resource Consulting Services to support sustainable farming across Australia.
Gillian Fennell is a South Australian beef producer and advocate based on Lambina Station. As Chair of Livestock SA, she represents over 3,500 red meat and wool producers. Gillian is also a leading agfluencer, using social media to share the realities of farming and promote agriculture. In 2024, she was named one of SA Woman’s “Women to Watch” for her impact on the industry and community.
Alex Howard works with some of the agribusiness sector’s most complex clients. He started out with a Bachelor of Animal Science, specialising in the chicken meat industry, before spending five years in food and ag research. A Master of Finance helped him pivot into banking—proof that careers don’t have to follow a straight line. Alex’s journey shows how embracing change and chasing new experiences can lead to exciting and rewarding outcomes

Meet our Guest Speaker and Workshop Facilitator
We are thrilled to announce that Allan Parker OAM will be a part of Growing the Future 2025!
Allan is an internationally recognised Micro‑Behavioural Scientist, educator, and expert negotiator. As Managing Director of Peak Performance Development, he specialises in negotiation, organisational change, leadership development, and dispute resolution. He is the co‑author of Switch on Your Brain, The Negotiator’s Toolkit, and Beyond Yes – Negotiating and Networking.
Allan has designed Australia’s first university degree in negotiation, represented Australia at the OECD, and facilitated multi‑party negotiations, including at the United Nations. In 2020, he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his contribution to business and dispute resolution.
A lifelong learner and endurance athlete, Allan has completed 16 marathons and 11 ultra‑marathons, and continues to explore how behavioural science can drive better outcomes in business and life.
