I have had a few discussions lately with parents about being their childs advocate. The good, the bad and the frustrating. I came across this article which is quite good at outlining the steps. It is from America so the suggested links are not valid for us, however I will also post a link to a website which outlines the state and commonwealth regulations in Australia.
