What happens when the audience is asked to look a little closer? ๐Ÿ‘€

Adelaide College of the Arts Acting, Technical Production and Design students present ๐Œ๐˜ ๐๐„๐—๐“ ๐ƒ๐€๐˜, an original, self-devised work created by our Second Year Acting students and directed by Paulo Castro.

Taking to the Main Theatre this September, My Next Day invites audiences into a unique theatrical experience, youโ€™ll even be using binoculars to view the performance. ๐Ÿ”ญ Feel free to bring your own, with a limited number available on the night.

Weโ€™re proud to celebrate Adelaide-based Portuguese director, actor, filmmaker and playwright Paulo Castro, who was recently awarded the ๐’๐ข๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ญ ๐Œ๐ž๐๐š๐ฅ (Medalha de Mรฉrito Municipal โ€“ Grau Prata) by the City of Vila Real, Portugal. ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ‘

Paulo has built an extensive career in theatre and performance across Portugal, Europe and Australia and is the co-founder of contemporary performance company STONE/CASTRO.

Here at Adelaide College of the Arts, Paulo is currently sharing that wealth of professional and international experience with our second-year Acting students, directing their upcoming production, My Next Day (tickets/dates/times coming soon ๐Ÿ‘€). ๐ŸŽญ

Itโ€™s a wonderful opportunity for our students to work alongside an accomplished practising artist and experience first-hand the ideas, perspectives and creative processes that come from a career spanning different countries, companies and stages.

Meet Talisha Warren, one of the talented emerging photographers featured in Finding Focus, the 2026 Diploma of Photography and Digital Imaging [CUA50925] Graduate Exhibition.

Talishaโ€™s series, A Place Untouched, draws attention to the smaller details in nature that are often overlooked. From water droplets resting on leaves to plants growing among rocks and waterfalls flowing through the landscape, each image invites viewers to slow down and look a little closer.

Her work captures the feeling of being present in the natural world, reminding us that beauty does not need to be grand or dramatic, the most extraordinary moments can be found in the smallest details.

Experience MY NAME IS MAISEY, a collaboration bringing together 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor of Creative Arts Dance and Technical Production & Design students at Adelaide College of the Arts.

With choreography and design by Riannon McLean, the performance showcases the creative collaboration between movement, design and technical production as our students bring the work to the AC Arts Main Theatre.
