Mae Traeger is a bluegrass fiddle player, classical violinist and instrumental tutor who works as a touring musician, recording artist and a tutor. She also directs several string ensembles. Mae is passionate about nurturing her students' mental and physical well being as musicians.

I started playing the violin when I was 5. The first violin I ever had was made out of cardboard! My mum is a musician, so I have always been around music and it felt like a natural step to begin learning an instrument.

💜 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY - EMBRACE EQUITY 💜

International Women's Day 2023 will be an opportunity to reflect on the progress society has made in supporting equity for women. Even in the most developed countries, there are still challenges when it comes to giving women access to economic resources and eliminating workplace gender inequalities. On this day, it is essential that we recognize the value of women-owned businesses and create opportunities for their growth. It is also important that we encourage men to join forces with women in championing equitable policies and creating safe environments for those who are traditionally marginalized. Such practices can result in tangible improvements for current and future generations of women worldwide and ultimately bring us closer to true equity.

LEONARDO ORLANDI (he/him) 🎸🎶
MUSIC TUTOR

Leonardo Orlandi is a guitar player with 17 years experience, as well as a UofA BMus graduate. Over the years he has recorded multiple songs for metal, pop and r&b bands; this includes a rhythm guitar role for an all Australian Netflix movie, "I'am Makita". Leonardo is looking forward to teaching and helping those in the arts.
