I'm doubling down on legal content creation in 2024, and excited for you to see what's in the works.
How can you be involved?
1) To stay updated on news and releases, best option is to join my Mailing List: https://www.joelgrieger.com/signup
2) If you've wanted to get a better understanding of legal topics but either don't know where to start, or feel that you lack knowledge of 'the basics', I've got you covered – my first online course addresses just that! Find out more at: https://www.joelgrieger.com/pl/2148294544
3) Share this post with any friends or family who may be interested. (you'll be helping both them & me!)
I'm excited with how the next phase of projects are shaping up – and stoked that it gives me the chance to keep making legal information more accessible!

2 days to go! Lager & Law kicks off at The Suburban Brew this Thursday evening.
It's a free mini-series designed to teach you some of the essential points of contract law. It's academic knowledge, but removed from a stuffy classroom and delivered alongside cold beer at the brewery.
Session 1 is all about 'when does a contract exist?'
We'll look at what exactly a contract is, and what's required – the elements which need to be satisfied prior to any obligations existing.
Why are we doing this? It's all about trying to spread some fundamental commercial knowledge, particularly among the local business community. These are the gaps in general knowledge that I regularly saw amongst businesses when in legal practise, where a bit of prior awareness of the law could have prevented headaches later.
Everyone welcome - whether you're in business, or just keen to learn about contracts.
Even if you're just there to heckle me 👍
See ya Thursday - from 5.30pm, for a 6.30pm session start.
PS - if you know someone who might find this useful, please send them this post. You'll be doing both them and me a favour. Cheers.

Something exciting is coming soon for Keeping Up with the Consumer Law
- we've got our next 'ask an expert' session, and we're turning the questioning over to you!
If you've got a question about the Australian Consumer Law, we'd love to hear it. Please send either Joel Lisk or I a message or email, and we'll put together a collection to ask our guests.
